Rt.9 Dilkon & Rt.10 Pinon / ADOT

The Arizona Department of Transportation, in partnership with the Navajo Nation, has initiated a pavement rehabilitation project along State Route 264 in Northeast Arizona. The 6-mile-long project is roughly between the communities of Ganado and St. Michaels on the Navajo Nation (mileposts 459-465). SR 264 will be reduced to one lane only in segments along the project area with alternating east- and westbound travel during construction. Drivers will be directed through the work zone by flaggers and a pilot car. Work will take place Mondays through Thursdays from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Fridays from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. No work is planned during nights, weekends or holidays.

Rt.15 Sanders / ADOT

Due to the I-40 Allentown Bridge (Bridge Replacement) near Houck, Arizona, mile post 351 to 353, the Navajo Transit bus pick-up and drop-off location at Allentown (Indian City Chee's Store) will be temporarily discontinued starting Monday, April 21, 2025, until bridge construction is completed.

Due to inclement weather in some areas, be advised that Transit buses may arrive a little behind schedule. Please!!  Give our drivers time to get to your locations. Riders, we encourage you to buckle up while riding on the Navajo Transit buses, dress warm, and plan for any type of situation. We appreciate you riding with Navajo Transit. Stay safe. Any questions, call the transit office @ 928-729-4002.
